"I have been taking photographs for over 40 years. I love being out and about with my camera seeing new sights and visiting new places. I spent most of my professional life as a scientist taking any opportunity I could to travel and photograph. My scientific background has given me an excellent understanding of the technical aspects of photography (some might say too technical).
Over the years,I have been fortunate to have visited a number of cities and countries around the world. I love exploring new places and experiencing new things always with my camera at hand. The places I've travelled to and photographed include: Paris, Switzerland ,Italy, Greece, Egypt, Hanoi's Halong Bay,Thailand,The UK,Papua New Guinea, the Galapagos Islands, Chile, Peru, Argentina,Brazil,US west coast National Parks,New Zealand and, most recently Alaska as well as various Australian destinations.
I love to share the joy of travel and photography and have many stories to tell. One that comes to mind is a visit to Uros island on Lake Titicaca. Uros is a floating reed island and is not solid ground at all. It was amazing to see how the Uros Indians actually live on the floating islands. It made for some great photographic opportunities. Please share my website and enjoy my images as much as I enjoyed creating them".
